Decostop Lodge was set up, and is operated by, people who love diving for people who love diving. The owner/manager (Cath) used to be in charge of social events and activities on cruise ships. She's a fun, active, person who adores her staff and her guests and her lifestyle. Decostop Lodge reflects Cath's outlook on life. Set high on the hillside above Luganville, it has the best views of the broad harbour with awesome sunsets and cooling trade winds. There are budget dormitory rooms each with ensuites, and studio rooms with ensuites. There is a big recreation room with computers for diving photographers to burn their images onto CD, a wet-room, freshwater gear wash, and storage area for diving gear. The restaurant is top quality and the view over the swimming pool and sun deck looks suspiciously like you were on the pool deck of a cruise ship sailing through the clouds. Cath organizes Melanesian dance nights that are some of the best custom dancing performances you'll see anywhere.
