Vanuatu Diving
Scuba Diving in Vanuatu has two main epicentres, Efate and Santo. Both have a wide range of dive sites and diving services.
Snorkelling can be done just about anywhere and on all the islands - but you may have to bring your own gear if you are headed for rural areas. Almost every Vanuatu resort has snorkelling gear available and there are lots of snorkelling tours and excursions but the Vanuatu village bungalows generally do not have snorkelling gear.
Diving Efate, Vanuatu:
Efate has two major dive areas:
1 Diving Port Vila harbour and Mele Bay. This is close to the major hotels and services of Port Vila and the easiest to get to.
The primary dive operators in the Port Vila area are:
- Nautilus Watersports Phone 22398 - In Port Vila, with a complete dive shop, divers dormitory, sport fishing and specially built dive boats for diving Port Vila and Mele Bay. Live aboard fishing/diving charters are available.

The primary dive operators in Havannah Harbour are:
- Tranquillity Dive Resort Phone 36822 Tranquillity also has a eco-resort on one of the islands that forms Havannah harbour and a large day-sailing yacht.
- Sailaway Cruises Phone 25155 Sailaway offers dive trips and snorkeling trips aboard their trimaran Golden Wing and also live aboard dive cruises to other dive spots in Vanuatu.
Diving Santo, Dive Espiritu Santo in northern Vanuatu
Most of Santo's diving activity is on the SE part of the island near Luganville.
The most famous dive site in Santo Vanuatu is the wreck of the SS President Coolidge, the largest accessible shipwreck in the world.
Million Dollar Point and the wrecks of the Henry Bonneaud and the USS Tucker add spice to the many lovely coral reef dive sites around SE Luganville.

- Bokissa Private Island dive resort phone 36913 - located on its own private island and exclusive dive operator for the wreck of the Henry Bonneaud - they have their own specially build dive boat.
- Allen Power Dive Tours phone 36822 - located right down-town in Luganville, Allen Power is the pioneer diver of the President Coolidge and has a dive staging area on shore just above the sunken bow of the largest accessible shipwreck in the world. Allen Power Dive Tours also has their own specially built dive boat. Allen Power Tours picks up divers from Decostop Lodge, Beachfront Resort, Aore Island Resort and other Luganville accommodation.
